I just got to read the bookseller blurb (helps to have been in the bookselling businees at one point) for Cerulean Sins – Laurell K. Hamilton’s new Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter book.

Read on if you dare!

Yep – Somehow I feel like I have a big old target stapled firmly on my back.

What if the Lord of the Rings was written by…?

One of the funniest is the Laurell K Hamilton version of LOTR.

Very curious

Out of the Closet and On to Fraternity Row

In my days, we didn’t have gay frats, we just had rush week. (Make your own rude thoughts of that what you will).

Will Wheaton meets the Ghastlyverse

I don’t know how many people get the chuckle I get from Ghastly’s Ghastly Comic, but it is a wonderfully funny parody of anime, gamers, and specifically tentacle hentai.

The concept for the site is tentacle monsters and the women who love them.

Nothing is sacred to him, he smacks anime, manga, otaku, yaoi, shounen ai, punks, gamers, furrys, gay people, straight people, bukake, mega tokyo, boy meets boy, fan service; in fact, I have yet to see a subject that he has not tackled in his twisted manner.

Ghastly updates once a week on Sundays.

I normally read it about mid week just so I can get a good laugh when I need it.

This week, Will Wheaton mixes up with the tentacle monsters

No, there is no penetration or assualt on Mr. Wheaton’s person. In fact he is the one promising much whoop ass.

Now if I can just get this silly grin off of my face.

A great sig line from the X-Forums

“I like my women like I like my characters: Experienced, Powerful, with Special Abilities and one hell of an Inventory.”

This one sentence brings to mind five women.

valkyrwench, diziara, jendra, pbrim, and sandradelete.

And no, not for the same reasons.

Though I will say that all of the above women are some of the strongest ladies that it has been my privilege to know.

Ali – I don’t think I could face half of the drek that she deals with and maintain my sanity – much less her razor sharp sense of humor.

Amy – I don’t think anyone can imtimidate this young lady. What chutzpah! And she keeps me from ripping out my hair when I am working late into the night.

Marsha – We haven’t always gotten along. It is a lot more fun liking each other. Plus she is the love of a very good friend’s life. I can’t imagine them apart.

Pat – Quick mind, sharp wit, and yet has not lost her mind either, creative too, and with amazing amounts of patience.

Sandra – Smart, artistic, rapier sharp wit, makes it fun to be a chemistry/science geek, and she can bring a smile to me – she rocks the world.

Ladies, you have really improved my world and my life with your presence. I just wanted to thank you for being you.

You know you have been reading too many Laurell K Hamilton novels when . . .

Had a very interesting dream last night.

I had met a wonderful guy (gasp) and we had started dating and had been dating for about a month or so. Things were going quite swimmingly when he had a revelation to make. He was a werejaguar. What really got me was that I was all for making it work, and even offered to scratch behind the ears when he got furry.

What suprised me even more is that when I woke up and thought about what I had dreamed, I was wondering “now where can I find a wonderful, sweet guy like that?”

Now what exactally does this say about me?
