OK. I am now convinced that people in Austin have too much damn time on their hands. . . .

The Slightest Touch® stimulator.

This bloody thing “provides continuous stimulation to a woman’s sexual nerve pathways” by running a slight electric current through her legs to “prime her pump” so to speak.

Half of the website is basically softcore porn, case in point:

Now, you turn your Slightest Touch® to the ON position, and very slowly rotate the comfort level adjustment dial higher and higher.

As you slowly turn the dial, you get to a point where you can just begin to feel a very gentle pulsing and tingling sensation at one or both electrode pads. This is the correct setting. It is normal to feel it in only one ankle.

You’re thinking, “Wow! I thought this thing was going to…well…uh, do something!” You check the Instruction Manual one more time. And it says, you may begin to feel a second sensation in your pelvic region, within 10 to 30 minutes. Hmmm. Okay. You think, “Maybe I’ll just relax a little bit and read a chapter in my book!”

Halfway into the chapter of your book, when “tall, dark and handsome” has just swept our heroine off her feet, you realize this book is either really good, or something is happening to you “down there!” And what’s happening has a very familiar sensation to it! You try to concentrate on your book some more, because it was really getting interesting! But, for some reason, your toes are starting to curl. And, you’re starting to get that “feeling” in your pelvic region.

Then you might start to feel a very subtle, rhythmic pulsing sensation.
You think, “Is it getting warm in here, or is it just me?” You’re kind of… moving… and you feel like something is going to have to happen or you will simply explode! You reach down and provide just the “slightest touch.” And…
Well, we all know what comes at that point!

Whew! Was that the best orgasm you ever had, or what? Now, you are beginning to understand why so many women are talking about their Slightest Touch®! That was incredible! Way beyond anything you’ve experienced with just a vibrator.

You know. I can’t even come up with anything pithy to say about this. To make it worse, the price for this is 140.00 I can think of lots of women who would want this as a stocking stuffer.

Done!

39 Web Servers
5 SQL Servers
2 Application Servers
2 Active Directory Controllers

Through hardware, build scripts, and time constraints, I have persevered.

Feeling pretty frelling happy with myself too.

Still having issues with the last four servers.

Two of the SQL Servers and the two application servers are being VERY bad.

I am considering spanking them with a fire ax, but some people might find that extreme.

Aaaaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

39 Web Servers
5 SQL Servers
2 Application Servers
2 Active Directory Controllers

Build is done on all but three of the servers which are building now, QA checks are almost done, and I have just caught myself performing a QA check on the same server twice.

Been doing so many of these between yesterday and today that they are running together in my head!

On a more positive note, I got to chat with worldmage (needless to say, I am head over heels in love with him) online for a few minutes while doing some of the QA and iLOE configs. That always makes me a happy kitty, and even better, I will get to chat with him on the phone later! W00t!

And I am getting revenge on my co-workers too, I am playing the Flood CD from They Might Be Giants while working which has two benefits, (1) it keeps me sane, and (2) it is slowly sapping the sanity of my co-workers!

So I do kick serious butt . . .

Well, so far we have over 30 of the web servers built out, have about 5 or so of the SQL Servers to build, along with the file servers and a few more web servers.

These are sweet servers too, the web boxes are have dual 2.8 GHz processors with 2 GB of RAM each and 36 GB of storage, dual gigabit NICs, etc. But I did realize one thing about them, at first I was thinking I had around 5,000.00 worth of server tucked under my arm every time I picked one up, verified the hardware and slid it into the build rack, but I was wrong. The price as equipped for these puppies (just the web servers) is 11,241.00 each. The only bad thing about these is that they weigh about 25 to 30 kilograms each, so I am pretty sure that I may be a little sore in the morning (been picking these up and carrying them around all day long)

And I got to talk with worldmage today!

gramalkin told me that I was happy, peppy, bouncy, etc. after I got to spend time talking with Danny and you know what? He is right.

Danny has a wonderful very resonant voice that I just love to hear.

You know what? I am tired and I do believe I am rambling. I think I shall chill for a little bit, pet some cats, and then curl up and sleep.

And I do know that I will be hearing someone’s voice in my dreams.

By the way, Danny, I Love You.

45 Servers

I come to work after my way too short weekend to find that one of my customers needs 45 servers built and deployed by Monday.

Guess who gets to do it too?

I love my job but Lord of Light, this is going to be a long day. If anyone needs me I will most likely not be online, but I will have my cell phone with me.

And just for gramalkin . . .

Whilst I am indulging in a geekfest, I must point out that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, also by Bioware, is available in store for the PC as of today.

*ahem*

Pardon my geekness but . . .

Bless their little hearts, Bioware has just announced, Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark is now gold! This is the second expansion pack for Neverwinter Nights, and the first to be developed in-house by Bioware. It’s also the first CRPG to feature 3rd Edition epic levels.

Now how quickly can I get my hands on the CD. . . .

This is progress, now we just wait for the brownstorm to begin. . .

Massachusetts court rules ban on gay marriage unconstitutional

My take away from this:

While the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court stopped short of just allowing marriage licenses to be issued to the couples who challenged the law, they did give the state Legislature 180 days to find a solution. What I did enjoy with this was that the state supreme judicial court found that the state “failed to identify any constitutionally adequate reason for denying civil marriage to same-sex couples.”

I am now going to start the countdown until the collective freakout will begin. What I find the most interesting is that both sides are going to have fits when nothing is decided yet! Take a look at the facts: Yes, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court did say that it was unconstitutional to ban a same sex civil union, but they then told the legislature that they have 180 days (six months for the math-challenged) to fix things and Diety only knows what those “learned gentlemen” will devise as a solution.

I'm all for unusual but really now . . .

Lunch was good, took Michael and gramalkin to Einstein’s Bagels for lunch – yay for a good healthy lunch!

On another note though, this site is what I mean about some people not deserving access to the net. Bling! Bling!

– First of all boys, you do realize that you are not black no matter how badly you wish you were not rich suburban white boys.
– Secondly, I checked with some of my black friends, and they are not aware of anyone other than posers who would actually create drek like this.
– And finally, grow up.

Lord of Light, I sure hope that this page is meant as a joke and not serious.

Everyone else is doing this birthday meme. But I want to turn it on it’s head. Here is my month.

Now what I am interested in is this: I would like my friends to comment this entry and mark out the parts that they think do not apply to me.

SEPTEMBER:
Suave and compromising. Careful, cautious and organized. Likes to point out people’s mistakes. Likes to criticize. Stubborn. Quiet but able to talk well. Calm and cool. Kind and sympathetic. Concerned and detailed. Loyal but not always honest. Does work well. Very confident. Sensitive.Thinking generous. Good memory. Clever and knowledgeable. Loves to look for information. Must control oneself when criticizing. Able to motivate oneself. Understanding. Fun to be around. Secretive. Loves sports, leisure and traveling. Hardly shows emotions. Tends to bottle up feelings. Very choosy, especially in relationships. Systematic.

– Bonus points if you will tell me why you marked out things that you marked out.
