Not fair! Not fair!

Eris! I want you to entertain me. I have been wronged and I want vengeance. You always have fun poking me, so let’s work together on this.

The new Appleseed Movie is now in the states.

AND THEY ARE NOT SHOWING IT ANYWHERE I CAN WATCH IT!

Ontario Mills 30 (Ontario, CA)
Saratoga 14 (San Jose, CA)
Beverly Center 13 (Los Angeles, CA)
Dole Cannery 18 (Honolulu, HI)
Village East (New York, NY)

That is it. No other theaters. And knowing Genon, it’s going to be at least another year before they release it on DVD. And considering that this movie came out in Japan in 2003, I am frelling tired of waiting.

Oooooh SHINY!

Oscar. Mike. Golf.

Tim Burton + Johnny Depp + Danny Elfman + Stop Motion Animation (a la A Nightmare Before Christmas) = Pure Celluloid Bliss

I of course am speaking about The Corpse Bride

(Go to Tim Burtons site for the synopsis – to the official WB site for the trailer)

Thank you to saunteringdown for pointing this out to me!

I am just happy that the truck is from somewhere other than Texas.

This kid is too smart for his own good.

Mom, can I put the cat in the washing machine?

Priceless.

You know, if Collin’s parents were not so tightly wound, I could imagine Collin doing things like that when he was younger.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Ringo Starr, superhero

Yes, you read that right. Ringo (of Beatles fame) is hooking up with Stan Lee to create a super powered animated version of himself.

Words fail me.

Councilors in Liverpool, England have given approval for the first “prostitution tolerance zone” in England

Up to five areas of the city could be earmarked as vice-friendly zones but council leaders say the locations have not been decided.

Under the plan, sex for sale would be allowed during the night.

*blinks*

ok……….. That should be interesting. Well, if you can’t stop it, tax it.

And finally –

How can anyone do this to their tube rat?

Somehow I think that even Bun-Bun would feel sorry for this guy.

One more thing.

Kittens, Kung-Fu, and The Matrix do mix.

EDIT: Or would that be Kung-Mew?

So much love for Randy Milholland

“Asshole” is not an alternative lifestyle.

I hope that some day I will have it within myself to be that snarky.

On top of everything else.

It’s so kyoot! (Deal with the intentional misspelling).

OK, Apple has done it again. They have managed to make a computer that is cute.

And it is only $499 – Add your own monitor, keyboard, and mouse and you have a full blown Mac.

I wish that they had used a more beefy graphics card than an ATI 9200 with 32MB of memory, but I bet that this was to meet a price point.

If you didn’t start a Live Journal for the sole purpose of being an attention whore and having everyone pity you because of your sob stories, put this in your LJ.

Boy is that a mouthful.

I try to post as much positive news, info, etc as I can. Why? Because there is so much negativity in the world.

It's too damn hot. . . .

One thing is a grumble – but an amusing one.

As most people know, I really enjoy cool to cold weather. I know that gramalkin, valkyrwench, marinebear, and others think that I am completely psycho for enjoying low temperatures, but there you have it.

I can tell you that there is nothing quite so amusing as watching your stepmother look at you like you have lost your mind when you come in on Christmas Day bringing wood to the fireplace so she can get warm while you are wearing a t-shirt, shorts and are barefoot. But you know what, it was only in the mid 40s (about 8 C) so to me it was brisk and bracing to just run out barefoot to get the wood.

But Texas is once again proving that we have some of the most frelled weather known to man. Today at 08:00, it was already 70 (21 C) and by mid afternoon, it had hit 77 (25 C) – keep in mind this is with 96% humidity.

*BLECH*

I want some winter weather now dammit!
