A few observations.

I was a little frustrated today, but that got better thanks to avaaricious and valkyrwench. Both of you ladies reminded me today in your own ways why I persist in believing that people are innately good.

Oh and twfarlan, check your email. This has been a very busy week but I have a response for you.

texaspenguin looks absolutely adorable with his “scruffy unshaven” look.

Looking forward to going to blackpage & houseofjenn‘s for an early Chinese New Years party.

I’ll be in Waco on Monday through Wednesday morning at The Cotton Palace – Monday night, I’m taking my grandmother to dinner, Tuesday we are going to do family things and just spend time, and Wednesday I’m driving back.

I’m going to put a quick speech that my mother really enjoyed.

Major geek points to whoever can tell me where this comes from.

And I was just trying to live my bloody life. You know, get from “A” to “B” and do a little shopping.

Only to find that, that in fact, life is controlled poorly by bits of bloody, bloody, buggery bits of paper. I mean, why can’t life just be made a little bit easier for everybody?

You know?

And why do we play bloody taxes?

I know – You know – To buy railings to put outside bloody shops so stupid people can’t run into the bloody road, but you know, we are not all stupid, we don’t all need nursemaiding.

Why not just have a stupidity tax?

Just tax the stupid people!

A lot of people have had a lot to say to me this week, and I intend to clear the backlog in my “free time” this weekend.

One final thing . . .

It was funny that this has been running through my head all week.

I’m through accepting limits,
cuz someone says they’re so.
Some things I cannot change,
But till I try I’ll never know!
Too long I’ve been afraid of
losing love I guess I’ve lost.
Well if that’s love,
It comes at much too high a cost!

I’d sooner buy defying gravity!
Kiss me goodbye, I’m defying gravity!
And you can’t pull me down!

So if you care to find me
look to the Western sky!
As someone told me lately
everyone deserves the chance to fly!
And if I’m flying solo,
at least I’m flying free.
To those who ground me
take a message back from me!

Tell them how I am defying gravity!
I’m flying high, defying gravity!
And soon I’ll match them in renown.

Seventeen hour days on only five hours of sleep really sucks.

I’m going to bed now.
