I have been informed that I am, in fact “wordy”. I am not sure exactly how I feel about that.

You know, I am amazed by the numbers of people who do not understand basic high school level phyiscs.

Seems that along with the safety video, they are running a television spot as well.

Talk about complete transparancy!

This airline will not let anything get between them and safety.

You know – I have to wonder how quickly people clued in that the personnel making the video were starkers. Sadly, we will never see such safety videos here in the states, for I am sure that it would violate some FAA rule somewhere. People in the US are way too uptight about such things.

Now see what you have gone and done?

Yeah, I know that this is old stuff, but I feel the need to showcase it anyway.

I would like to give massive props to this young lady for a very creative and low key “Code Monkey Dance”

She is very assuredly having a lot of fun with JoCo’s work.

So without further ado, I would like to present to you YouTube user “aleprechaun” doing the Code Monkey Dance.

Welcome to the Disco Hell of 1978

Woman killed when she leans out a moving truck and hits head on mailboxes

You know, I would normally ask “What was going through this girl’s mind?” But in this case, I know. It was three mailboxes.

“(Angela) was playing a Nintendo game, then she threw her head out the window” at the 4600 block of Lake Boulevard, Valerie Gaskin said, recalling Jeckel’s account.

Jeckel said he then “heard a thump-thump-thump,” she added.

“He stopped the truck,” Valerie Gaskin said, “got on the other side and saw a hole in her head and got on On-Star and drove to the hospital.”

**thump thump thump**
Oy.

And thus, the story of Torchwood ends. Sadly, I can’t see any other way for it to end.

The ending was, in a word, perfectly Torchwood.

I must say though, that RTD can be much more of a great bastard that Joss Wheadon has ever thought of being.

Give Me Strength!
